The vessel is then turned upright utilising the overhead cranes. For owners and builders alike, this can be a nervous time.
The vessel is uprighted and propped up for the commencement of the wheelhouse construction.
During wheelhouse construction, aluminium fabricators commence hand rails, bow rails, bulwark and/or transom doors, bait racks, hatches, ladders and anything else that takes an owners fancy. This is the opportunity for the owner to look over his vessel and make any final variations to the setup.
The engineers now implement the engine installation and associated pipework, The electricians will commence the wiring of the vessel where practical.
